Hope that stays up to the pressure considering you are going to have about 290 lbs of water in that tank. Oh but it looks nice. You see whats holding my nanos up roight ? LOL. I Just got some corner tables under mine.LOL. Maybe i should post a pic of it. Ill do it tomorrow. HAHA. Well great looking racks you got going. what the heck does it matter what color the ties are anyways ? LOL. pretty funny but still doesnt seem like it should matter.

YAH NWDYR, Its not cool to bash people at all. I MEAN ITS 2 THOUSAND AND FREAKIN 8. COME ON WE AINT LIVIN IN THE TRIBESMAN AGE. People need to freakin quit with the bad comments and talkin down on people. And people that bash a gay person are obviously homophobic or whatvere that word is. I mean that wasnt even a funny joke to make really. We should all be grown here and if we aint then think twice before you say something that may offend someone. I am straight as well but i dont be talkin down on anyone gay or for the way they think or religion they choose or color of their skin. WE ALL BLEED RED BLOOD. OK...so back to the tank! i took 10gal out of the 40 and 5 out of the 24gal , got 2 5gal buckets mixing right now so tomorrow it will be full
I am going to throw in a couple pieces of LR from the other tanks just to get the bio going. I also took a nice piece of filter floss out of the 40 and threw it in there to help get things going. Any one think i will get a cycle , seeing that 10 of the 29 gallons will be "new" water? I don't think so but a little input never hurts!

Doubt you will see any cycle with the live rock from other established tank and the filter floss. Remember water does not really contain any of the nitrifying bacteria. It resides on hard surfaces, sand, rock, glass etc.

ok...Got all the water in...but...where can I put the heater??? thanks for all the mods guy's but I am going to run this stock for awhile. Here is my prob. If I keep the water level in chamber 1 ( with the pump) where it says to keep it , at the line that says max. then there is not enough water to put the heater in there. If i put it in the middle I have to take that cover off which makes the bio balls float...the 3rd chamber has a "plate" thing about 3/4 of the way down that I cant get out! and of course that stops the heater from being submersed
. Please give me a idea , but don't tell me to take out the bio balls please i did allot of reading and even talked to a guy that works at the Chicago Shed Aquarium that said ALL filters need maintenance , bio balls are no more likely to cause Nitrates they any other dirty filter media
All i know id they use them so they cant be that bad right? anyway any thoughts on the heater would be GREAT!! thanks
PS. they dont have bio-cubes at the Shed so he couldnt help me with the heater prob
