As these two point out, it is the company's money that is paying for these commercials, and people get paid to make the commercials. Where did they get them money?? YOU buying the stuff they are advertising for. If there wasn't already sufficient demand for the products, they wouldn't be investing in expensive advertising to increase revenue.
