So, i made a new thread thing, because my other one i couldnt find lol. So this is my first salt water tank so far.
My next thing to buy is 30lbs of LR
All comments and suggestions are apprieciated!

Oh, and i just added the sand like 5 minutes ago from when i took the picture, so thats why its foggy, i'll post a clean one once it clears

well i suppose u could interprit the cloudy picks as dhiarea lol. but anyways...
i thought that had the signature fluvalve look to it. nice choice. if fluvavle would have been 75% off, i woulda got one of them instead of the Rena. but it is doing great, knock on wood.

Yeah, i like it a lot, it even came with an instructional dvd on how to install it, it was hilarious! The guy setting it up looked so upset, so me and a friend laughed at his state of bitter un-happiness, and then went on with installing the filter. It was shweet

well he probly wasnt getting payed much to do it and most likely got cohersed(sp?) into doing it. i got a Rena filstar xP2 that was 179.99 for 48.60 i think. so im good till i get more than a 75 gallon tank lol

Okay so now for live rock, i dont really want to buy 30lbs of live rock because of how expensive it is, i was thinking about only getting like 10lbs of live rock, and the rest base rock.
My question is, where do you get base rock, and is it expensive, and does it look like live rock?
