37 gallon tank adventure

We picked up a royal gramma tonight and some zooas... Ill post pictures later of how everything looks.
N00b, a QT tank is in our immediate future. Were planning on getting another big tank (more community, no corals) and we wouldnt dream of just sticking the higher priced "animals" into an established tank, especially not when were talking such high dollar amounts. We dropped a good $100 at our LFS tonight and another $200 at our Remote Control Hobby store, I crashed my R.C. (since when is R.C. a bad word?) truck on Sunday (alcohol will do that to you) and crushed my entire front end.. i was pi$$ed to say the least, my husband has also had a few parts on order and picked up another body for his car also... Its been an expensive day to say the very least..

It was my Remote Control truck lol.. not a real truck. One of my sons ran in front of it as i was driving (35mph) and I cut the wheel and accelerator and it ran smack into a brick wall... wasnt a really good turn out as im sure you can imagine lol. I would NEVER drink and drive.
Thanks for the congrats.. we also picked up a snowflake eel, we plan to have it in our small tank until our big tank is ready for him.. We have plenty of growing room for now (its TINY) and assuming we can catch it while feeding we will move it into the big tank when were ready.

Heres our snowflake eel. (S)he doesnt have a name yet but its pretty neat.. was swimming around looking for his little nitch to hide in.

an expirement, the mushroom was free (its purple) the girl at the LFS just threw it in.. she gave us the idea of the pantyhose, see if after a week its stuck to the shell and then place in the tank where we want it like a regular frag, we didnt pay for it so if it takes great, if not oh well.

LMAO!! n00b.. (not sure if its ok to use your real name) its NOT a frogspawn its a hammer.. I freakin love that hammer.. i want more of it dude.. my little peice looks so pewney lol. What are the chances of my free mushroom actually making it? (Attaching to the rock?) the girl at teh LFS said it swas a 50/50 chance. It was just the head of the mushroom (HAHAHA,get your mind our of the gutter) and there was another teeny tiny mushroom with the stalk that i also put in there.
Nissan, my clown is TINY!! its under an inch right now. Thankfully way too big for our eel to eat but yes, its very small. We wanted to get another one for our tank but we dont want it to get beat up. (we know we would have to get a bigger one)
Also, question. I had a friend of ours (who has had saltwater tanks forever) and they said that as the chromis get bigger they are notorious for being fin nippers, is that true? I had always heard they were great reef community fish.. someone enlighten me?

i think chromis , like most damsels become meaner somewhat proportional to the size of the tank. not saying they wont be mean or territorial at all in some theoretical monster tank, because that is not the case, but i am saying they wont care as much about other fish not in their immediate zone.
