Here are some updated pics.. because our QT tanks hasnt cycled yet and we ordered this fish awhile ago it had to go right into our DT. I got this crazy awesome Zoo for $35.00.. it has a TON of polyps on it and as you can see its opened up sooo much already!!
New Zoos closed up:
Opened up almost all the way, they looks sooo much prettier IRL:
my mushroom experiment seems to be going well and my little metallic hammer:
Cleaner shrimp:
and you thought my clown was small?!!!
My clown and hippo side by side.. and my clown is TINY:
Overview:
and for the record we ordered the hippo small on purpose.. our big tank will have time to cycle and we can have it in the living room for awhile before it moves into the bedroom.
Had to REDO the rock.. I tried to do what saltn00b said and use the other pieces on the side, and place them on top for a coral shelf and it didnt go well lol.. heres what I ended up with instead.
I cant wait for the big pieces to grow coraline!! It will look SOOOO much better once it does

Good looking tank! I love the green star polyps (GSP), especially under actinics.

thank you!! there are teeny tiny little "flowers" starting to come out. It was one big piece (we paid only $35 for the whole thing) and i broke it in half so it would have a place to grow "up"

You should try big als, ive been there once and was amazed on how much stuff and variety they had but i go to oceans below up in riviera.

yes, weve been to big als. it is a neat store but their staff is badly under informed on fish, supplies, exc. We used to be practically married to big als, would drive down there twice a week, exc. Now we got to "our place" its closer and the guy can order you anything under the sun. hes beat everyones price ive ever presented him.

Oh my plate coral nearly doubled in size!!! I fed it like 2 days ago and it shriveled up for about a day and this morning it was HUGE!!!

that shrimp looks so tiny, firefish do not get along togethor, you might end up with a dead one soon.

yes, the shrimp is small.. hes about an inch long. Does a good job though
I know eventually the firefish is going to die but i cant catch him to get him out and im not about to disassemble my entire tank again to catch him. Ive tried to get him at least a dozen times but hes too quick.
