I used to have a 38g, just broke it down several days ago and moved up to a 72g bowfront. Here's a few shots of the old 38...

Thanks!!
Its been running for little over a year, but all the sand, rock and fish have come from a 90 gallon I had up running for 3 years. I am running 384 watts of pc lighting. I also have a 30 gallon long sump/refugium.

Iam sure your tank will look awsome!! I really want to upgrade to T-5. I change my light bulbs every 6 months with the pc and that gets $$$ about 150.00 for 4 96 watt bulbs. The T-5 are way cheaper for the bulbs and last a year before you need to change them. You also get more of a variety of bulbs. Good luck!!

they are less wattage but have a higher spectrum rating that pentrates deeper. Basically a step behind MH's.

really so what would you suggest then. I currently have 2 VHOs and was gonna add another ballast you think i could keep alot more if i added 4 T5 to the mix?

Sunlight Supply and Icecap make them. If you give me your email address I can give you a link where to get them. They are like 289.00 for a 4x39 watt retro.
