55 Gallon Beginner

nice tank, it looks good. I bet it would look even better if the backdrop is black instead of blue

YUP looks good, except the tang will outgrow it...
and as far as the background...personally I like black, but eventually it will be covered with coraline and algeas anyway

Thanks guys. I have a GLO double fixture, it came with the tank. I am looking to upgrade to a larger tank (120-150) sometime in the next couple of months and I'll be getting a better fixture then.
The blue came with the tank, but had never thought of black. that sounds like it would look nice though. May have to try it with the new tank

Really cool.

I had my 55 up for 6 months as a SW and immediately converted my 125g cichlid tank to a SW set up. Best and most expensive thing I've done. I am a regular working Joe and spend like a millionaire.

What is a GLO light. Is it florescent, t5???
How long have you had those anemones??
The tank looks good but kinda concerned about the light.
