I have some pink anthellia right now. What you suggested looks very simar to xenia. I'd rather pulsing xenia if anything - even though I know it's invasive.
Yesterday I noticed that coralline is starting to grow on the bottom part of the glass, and the bottom of the tank. Looks like it will all be covered sooner rather than later.
Well, I just bought a green long tentacle flowerpot coral, a nice slab of orange montipora cause I think I killed my other frag. I also bought a small colony of brown protopalythoa with green mouths.
I was having a difficult time reaching all the areas and corners of the tank with a toothbrush, so I modified the handle. I drilled holes in a 1/2" piece of PVC and inserted the toothbrush and marked out where the holes should be on the toothbrush handle. Then drilled holes in the handle. I reinserted the toothbrush inside the pipe and then zip tied it through the center. It works very well for what I'm doing. The best part is, I no longer have to stick my hands in the tank in order to clean it. Woohoo!
More coralline flakes all over the glass. Must be maintaining good water parameters. Never tested them. Lol
I'm thinking I'll do a 1g water change this Saturday. It's going to be an all day event. I might even have to miss the concert I had planned to go to. Ugh, there goes my Saturday.
