Till Saturday Morning only Price is only 250 bucks! I am looking at trading up and can use the money. I was trying to sell this for 350 but I will take 250, now. This deal is only good until Saturday Morning. Item has to be picked up by this time.
I have a 48" Hamilton Technology Metal Halide / PC Light Hood and Ballasts for sale. These lights are used for a reef aquarium. It is a 48" light hood. The bulbs are two 250 watt metal halid lights (10k) and two 96 watt PC lights (Actinic) for a total of 692 watts. This much wattage is ideal to bring life to all coral types in a 75 gallon tank (thats 10 watts per gallon) ( I just so happen to also be selling a 75 gallon tank in another posting). The current bulbs are 7 to 8 months old. I would suggest new bulbs, you can get these bulbs cheap on ----. If you will be adding this light hood to an existing reef, the used bulbs are ideal for getting your corals and fish use to the more intense light before new bulbs are put in. The two of the ballasts are BlueLine ballasts (for the Metal Halide Ballasts) and the last is a Custom SeaLife Inc. ballasts (for the PCs). Here are some links for each of the parts in this posting (these aren't my links, just what I found in searches to show you the quality you are getting and the awesome price that I am selling this for):
Ballast: (online price of BlueLine are $250 each and the Custom SeaLife I am unsure of the price)
Light Hood: (online price of $725.50)

I bought this set for $900. So this is a steal at $250 OBO. The cables for the hood and ballasts are long so you can put them almost anywheres around your tank. I have them mounted on two small boards to mount the whole ballasts setup inside of the stand off the floor. This is a nice setup that will really enchance your reef tank. There is only one thing to mention, the plexiglass piece has developed a crack because of the heat. You can get a replacment piece at Lowes or HomeDepot for probably around 20 or 30 bucks. It doesn't have to be fixed right away, the light hood will work with the crack in the plexiglass just fine, but it should eventually be replaced.
I am only accepting cash for all items. So $250 OBO for this time.
