honestly I have no clue other than water parameters are in check and the right lighting. other than that I do nothing I havent dosed anything I have done one small water change and absolutely nothing else to the tank. I have been to busy at work to do much with it other than occasionaly move something around look at it shut the light off and go to bed LOL

to everyone:
since about the first of february. so it hasnt been that long. probably around 2 months the first pic is about 1 month after setting up. since I set up the tank I have done 2 water changes total of about 10 gallons.
yes its a 150 HQI coralife fixture and I love it. The only problem that I have is the way it attaches to the tank it gets stuff cought in it but other than its a great light!!!

looks like you have some wood xenia also huh?
I have some of those. my wood xenia is alot darker than yours and the polyps spread out wider apart.

I have heard it called wood xenia too its trippled in size since I got it a couple of months ago and split babies all over the place!!!!

mine's growing pretty fast also. Double the size and a couple frags in 1 month.
I will use them in the very back of the DT for back drop.

it gives the tank some visual interest. I want to get GSP going on the glass instead of the anthelia/
