I use red sea salt I wanted to use something different when I set this tank up since I used IO for years and I actually like the red sea better so far.

what size tank and how much live rock do you have.
The problem with these fish is that they are hard to train to eat frozen foods so your tank has to have a lot of pods and other small crustateans for them to eat. In a small tank and less than about 100 pounds on live rock they dont do very well and most starve slowly. If you can get lucky enough to find one like I did that was already weened to frowzen foods then you are very lucky!!!!
I dont recomend taking someones word that it eats frozen foods either make them show you so you can see for yourself. and watch out for picking at the food. Mine foes nuts when I add mysis or brine to the tank darting in and out of the rocks catching what floats by. also these are very shy fish hiding ALOT of the time.

I have a 55 gal tank, but no where near 100 lbs of liverock. I might rethink the idea of getting one. I don't want a fish thats going to take any extra work. I have enough stress with the ones I have now, but maybe someday in the future once I don't have these anymore - or if I upgrade to a larger tank.
