I forgot to add that there's styrofoam glued to the rim on the container to make sure it floats and doesn't spill over.

Hey Bang Guy,
What is your feeding schedule for the new guys.
rotifers for the first 3-4 days.
brine shrimp for the next 3-4 days.
regular flakes after that?
Thanks,
hari

Rotifers for a few days
Mix of Rotifers and powdered Freeze-Dryed Cyclop-Eeze (Powdered with a mortar) until metamorphasis.
Then I slowly increase the size of the Cyclop-eeze pieces but still feed Rotifers until they can eat a whole piece of Cyclop-Eeze.
Then I switch to frozen Cyclop-Eeze and blendered seafood and move them to a grow-out container. Any runts stay in the larvae container until they are big enough.
I never feed them Baby Brine Shrimp nor flaked food.

Well crap. I just spent about $50 to grow brine shrimp.

Oh well, someone will eat them right?

The fry will eat them, they're nutritious when first hatched or when fed a good algae. Just make sure that's not all the fry get to eat. They are nutritious but not nutritionally complete.

how long does it take for them to grow to like 2inches?
It depends a whole lot on their environment. If they are alone it could take as little as 18 months. If they are with a mature pair of Clownfish they may never get to be 2".
