Ive heard about those cats, people breed them to have short legs so they can still look somewhat like kittens.

I really don't understand people. Why breed a cat with stumpy legs...agility is what make the cat, a cat. The ability to jump 10X their own height is what makes them so cool.
Are you sure it is even a real breed, and not some sort of joke? Then again I just barely understand having a hairless cat. At first I thought they were fakes too. At least they made sense for people with allergies.
But wienercats???

They are indeed real, saw a documentary on them on tv a year ago. They do lack agility but of course they are bred to look somewhat like kittens.

WELL I don't think they look anything like kittens
NOT with those long bodies, but they are sooo cute still
HMMMM...I bet that stubby cat couldn't jump on my 55g FW tank and break the frame

HMMM a kitty that can't jump up on the counter...it might not be such a bad idea after all..LOL
Still, it just isn't natural. A kitty should be allowed to be what he is.

I copied this thread and showed the "wiener cats" to my sister...she doesn't believe they are real.
I don't think these kitties could be very healthy (if real) The breeder is messing with nature.

Hey I am just laughing at the goofy damn things . The wife person was looking for a kitten to get the daughter person and she saw them . She was laughing so I looked to see what was funny. Then I laughed at them so I figured I would share .

as fare as I know there was a type of cat like this that hunted rodents in the tunnels they live in (sorta like a weenerdog and a bager) and they can jump just fine, there are a lot more "types" of cats that most people think, just look at the hairless cat
