? about algea and salt content

Ok I have been gone and the wife was taking care of the tanks for awhile. when she did a water change she did not put in to thought that water evap would raise the salt content. so when she would mix the water she would put it at 23. i get home and it is @ 29 (I know please dont cuss her she knows now)
Well every thing is healthy and i am slowly bring it down. but before i had a bloom of green algea. and it is gone now. but as i am bringing the salt down the green is come back. I was just wondering if some things will not live in that high of state. my shrooms are doing great in it. just wondering
thanks mike

Assuming reef temperatures, a S.G. of 1.029 isn't really that high. Just bring it down slowly and everything will be fine.

If things are doing good at that salinity{shrooms for example] you may want to go for a average.keep it at 1.024 ,1.025,1.026 with the average being in the center not to high or to low
