Please elaborate as to why homosexuality is not a mental illness. I believe that it is not considered one simply because there are many in the mental heath field that are homosexual.
Please explain to me how it is mentally normal for a man to want to have --- with another man.....Personally I believe you have to be sick to do so....But maybe you like to so you don't want to believe you are sick?

Pedophilia is considered a psychological disorder because it is socially unacceptable. Homosexuality is not because it is acceptable behavior.
Our morals have been lowered to allow this behavior therefore we dont need it to be classified as a illness. All we need to do to cure all mental illnesses is accept them.

Hey dude its a beauty contest where everything you're judged on is looks and presentation. She knew this before she entered. In the context of where she was the correct thing to do is to be politically correct. Don't play this off as if there is something wrong(or that I feel theres something wrong) with being honest. Shes in a beauty contest being judged on her presentation and so of course if she presents something poorly she will be judged for it. Oh and you think my response is what is exactly wrong with this country? What a crock of an answer. I'm not exactly a big fan of PC but I can think of worse things.

I would hope people tolerate things they might not agree with because it is the humane thing to do. Tolerating something because you're afraid of offending isn't really tolerance at all. Personally, I think the irony here is how youre complaining about fakeness in a contest built on being fake and how the person offended here is you because she was judged on how she responded.

Pedophilia(or at least acting on it) involves taking advantage of a child and is closer to r@pe as there is no consent or the child is not old/mature enough to understand what they are consenting to. Homosexuality involves an act between 2 consenting people. I really dont see how this is a difficult concept to follow. Maybe you could explain how homosexuality is morally wrong or how our morals have been lowered to accept it? As far as I've read homosexuality is as old as life.
