acclimating anemones

I plan on getting one soon and would like to know everyones method of acclimating and how they place them in the tank.

I float it in the bag for about 30 minutes
Open bag...throw away a little bag water, add a little tank water...about 30 minutes
repeat 2 more times
WITH A GLOVE ON

I carefully place the anemone where I want it
Although It will move to where IT Wants to go
That's what I do...

I was wondering about the holding it part. the ones that I lost awhile back seemed to just collapse into my hand and I was thinking that maybe my method of placing them into the tank had something to do with their deaths

I never take it out of the water....with the bag in the water, I carefully let the anemone lay on my hand...and then I carefully set it in a good spot...

ok. I was thinking of doing something along those lines but am worried about the water from the LFS getting into the tank

By the time you are done acclimating most of the water should be yours...also, you are kinda scooping it out into your hand, not dumping it

i do the same ... except i just dump them in the tank and it lands where it lands ... i know it will move anyway

alright. thanks for the replies. I still have a little while before I add one to the tank. i just ordered my halide bulbs and after that I wont to make sure my water params are in check(switching my water change schedule).
