Added first corals!

Got my lights today. Went with the 70w K-2 viper...and went out and got some zoas!

CONGRATULATIONS!...

You are now officially a reefer..remember this moment and keep those first pictures. I keep a log on everything I ever put in my tank and a picture with it.

Have since added a green octopus coral and a small green star polyp frag.

Very nice, I really like the Octopus coral! The Star poylps will spread fast, I really love mine...

watch out for that pest anemone on the orange zoas with green skirts. I would take some superglue gel and cake it on the area that the anemone is coming from (outside of the tank of course).

I am actually not sure of the name of any of the Zoas I got!

The octopus coral looks cool. I dont guess I have ever saw one. Great start by the way, all the corals look great!

You might want to keep an eye on the algae in this picture though, it will spread quickly.

That is really awesome. The frogspawn kinda almost look like hammer coral.
Very nice. I really like the yellow Zoas

Thanks guys! Ya I was debating over the Hammer coral and the octopus coral...the octopus coral looked much better at the LFS so I went with it!
