Everything was fine until last night around 8 or so, I was just sitting here bored and I ended up taking an OC 20 due to a friend calling my phone! But I cant blame it on him, its my fault. After I took that, I just felt really bad knowing that I am in the same position I was in, I think I need to wein myself off. Actually, I think I'm going to make an app. to the doctor soon, Thanks again all of yall. Now It is Thursday morning and I am about to head to school, PLAN FOR TODAY: NO PILL Thanks, I will keep in touch
The one thing that sets an addict apart from everyone else is when "It's no longer Fun" and "I felt really bad after I drank/used"
Me= total addict/user/alcoholic/4 rehab programs/multiple hospital stays till I "got it"
I have many years of being clean and sober, I have 15+ sponcee's (I'm an AA/NA sponsor) they call or email me everyday to check in, most are Hard-Core retreads (in and out of program) that now have several years of sobrity.
Most had decent jobs and a good life, then it fell apart and some are still dealing with small things like, parole, can't spell due to brain being fried, can't get a job due to criminal problems, relationship problems (huge) etc...And most of my kids at one point were well off, had money, had the house, had the cars, had the respect of others...then they destroyed it
I'm a Hard-Core, in your face, call it like I see it, won't fluff it up to make it all pretty sponor. Most of my sponcee's hate me, but they keep calling and they stay sober/clean.....
Tough love time.....
Blah Blah Blah, you were sitting around and you were bored, Hey lets pop some phills,...Nothing more than an excuse and looking for members of this board to say "Ah, that's too bad, feel sorry for me" Either do something about your problem or get over in the slow lane so that somebody else who actually wants help can start the process of recovery
Tough love time....
Get off your sorry A$$ and find a NA meeting, do a 90/90 (90 meetings in 90 days) You obviously can't do it on your own, you've tried and failed.....when your at the meetings, look for somebody who you can't stand and who has years of clean time, ask them if they are taking on sponcee's, if they aren't see if they can be a temp sponsor and ask them if they know somebody who could take you on.
It's all about reality, don't put it in your mouth and you'll have another day of clean time...
Sick and tired of being sick and tired?

No, and I saw your previous post. I'm here in NC, but I don't know where in NC he is. If someone has bought/sold from him before that has some info, I'll be glad to reach out and check on him. I don't want to cross privacy lines though. We have to remember that he probably only told US, because we are in the cyber world. If he really wanted our physical help, he could have reached out to any of us by now.

my oldest son was injured at work. they gave him painkillers and he became addicted to them. when the doctor decided he might be getting addicted he stopped the prescriptions. he bought them on the street for a while and was finally doing so many he couldnt afford to buy them any more. he ended up robbing a drug store with a pellet gun. he is now in prison for 4 years. lost girlfriend and 3yr. old daughter. he is very sorry he didnt do something to help himself before this happened. he writes he has met a lot of people in the prison that almost the same exact thing has happened to them. so you are definately not alone. just do something before anything really bad happens.

That is crazy because one of my best friends from Highschool went down the exact same path and did the exact same thing pellet gun and all, there certainly needs to be a better education about the power of opiates
