I am going to be buying new bulbs this weekend for my wavepoint 4 bulb HO T5 fixture. I really like the white with a bluer look. Do these bulbs look like I will achieve that look?
ATI Aquablue Special x 2
and
Giesemann Actinic Plus x2
anyone???

way too white IMO. the aquablue's are really powerful and even in my 6 bulb set up overpower the 5 other blue bulbs. i would go
2 ati blue+
ati aquablue special
korallen zucht new generation
still too white to me. most people want pop but theres no way to get the pop with a white look unless you're using a correct radium and ballast combo or led lights

yes slightly bluer, but still too white imo. i think you would be good with 2 ati blue+, 1 fiii purple, 1 kz new generation. less white, with a little bit more red/purple pop

Don't replace all of your bulbs at once, this can cause light shock.
If it were me and I didn't already know exactly what I want I would buy 3 Actinics and 3 daylights so I could swap bulbs to get what I want.

"Don't replace all of your bulbs at once, this can cause light shock". as Bang said this IMO is the single most important thing to remember in changing bulbs

you can change em at once if you can raise your lights. if not, just put one in every other week
