Ok last week our clowns laid eggs and they all died on tues.
so we were able to borrow a 30g long so we'd be ready next time. And today they laid eggs again! is this okay aren't they only supposed to lay eggs every 18-27 days?

Clownfish lay their eggs in batches on the clear coral or rock adjacent to the anemone, or at the base of the male guards the eggs until they hatch 4-5 days later. In some species of clownfish, the male cares for the young until they reach sexual maturity, at which time they leave to find their own host anemone.
Yes this is okay that your clowns are laying more little funnies. You might want to be ready to transfer to the spare tank. Daddy clown should be around when the babbies are growing up.

Yes, the parents will eat the Clownfish Larvae.
Rotifers are a small easy to culture protist. They make an excellent first food for Clownfish larvae.

Or transfer the eggs to a hatch-out tank. The larvae hatch at night so you have until sun-up to remove them if they hatch in the tank.

I think that you should pull them out but that is me. others might think that you should leave the parents in the tank until after the eggs are out. But like I said if it were me I would pull them out. you should have something in the spare tank for security for the clown eggs.
