I would like to know if you would not listen and/or take advice from someone who is a teenager because of thier age? I would just like to know if anyone thinks age maked a difference with advice you take.

Knowledge and Experiance about the subject is what I look for in advice. Age does not mean one has either.

Age is not the big factor. But it plays a part. It more has to do with experience. I wouldnt take the advice of someone that just started and is still learning over someone that has many years of experience and has something to show for it. I also wouldnt listen to those that have lots of negative outcomes unless I am looking for WHAT NOT TO DO. And that itself depends on the subject and the situation.

I was thinking about the same thing, and agree with everyone. I am glad that it is about the person and not the age.

Me too! But some people do care about age TRUST ME i was in a saltwater store and some person that worked their came up to me since i was looking at the clownfish and a blue hippo tang and he was like Dont you like Nemo and Dory! They are actually very interesting, The Nemo fish are called Clownfish an easy way to remember that is because they swim funny and clowns are funny! And Dory fish like big tanks so they can "Just keep swimming just keep swimming swimming swimming" or something like that i was thinking in my head WTF Is wrong with this person does he think im 5??? And so then i opened my mouth and talked about them and other stuff to show him i knew what they were, along with what other fish were etc and i was like mocking him a teeny bit and lol he just stared at me in a shocked look and then i just walked away, I was mad.

That was one of the worst that i have had, but i have had other petstore people act not this bad but still were acting like i didnt know anything, and when i talked they all seemed shocked that i knew about saltwater and stuff.
