Love Akitas.....Perhaps my favorite dog.
I'll be surprised if the Star lasts though, Triggers and Puffers like starfish

Thats what I am a bit scared of but my LFS gave me a deal I couldnt pass up, so figured I give it a try.
The Akitas, yeah they are awesome just can be a bit aggressive. It is a challenge with 3 of them!

Today I had tro take the humu humu back to the lfs
It was just to aggressive and was nipping at the lion and puffer

But, of course I couldnt come home empty handed, soo here are some pics of my new snake eel, or I think it is anyway. If anyone knows what species of snake eel it is please let me know!!

LOL, it is weird and different, not someting you find everyday. I believe it is Myrichthys breviceps or sharptail eel. Unfortiunately I am unable to find any info. on them...It eats very well and is quite docilw soo I'll just hope for the best.

Once you get algae growing, a rabbit fish like a magnificent would be cool in that tank... their venomous spines give them good defense in an aggressive tank.

the eel, i do think you are right, though the picture i have has a fin along the top side down to the tail?? it says it may eat ornamental crusteaceans and small fishes. difficult to feed. feed live foods such as grass shrimp and fiddler crabs to invoke a feeding response.
(i am retyping this out of the Marine Fishes book by Scott W. Michael) all his books are VERY informative if you dont already have them.
