Aiptasia Genocide!

Well, i posted some pictures of my tank on here when i first signed up, which was not too long ago. I got some pretty great responses on what was happening in my tank. Long story short, i had some of the worst aiptasia infestation that some people had ever seen. So in response, i ended up immediately going out and buying a handful of peppermint shrimp and a product from Red Sea called Aiptasia X. I decided it was high time i got my tank in order, especially since my last remaining clown fish just went to the great toilet bowl in the sky. I just euthanized a pretty big lot of those green little buggers, so here are some before and after pictures! I'll post some pictures tomorrow; hopefully ill be able to see some clean rocks!

WOW...I also see you have green bubble algae
I am in the process of ridding some off come rock that was given to me...BUY EMERALD CRABS, and DO NOT feed the tank.....

looks like you've made some headway! other than the peppermints, what livestock do you have in the tank? i would have just boiled the rock myself, but i admire your hard work!

Ive got some kind of ornamental lobster but thats it. My last clown just died and it was a long time coming, so i didnt want to restock till i got the aiptasia taken care of. Ive got a few other arrangements in mind that i want to do before i put fish in...im not in any big rush considering my tremendously busy schedule as of recent. Thats kind of why it got so out of control in the first place.

I know the feeling... we have a 120 SW and we have majano's that we cannot seem to get rid of... we have gone through more joes juice, lemon juice, aptasia x and you name it.... I think we are going to have no other choice but to move our corals and either boil the rock or do something that will totally demolish them.... I would love suggestions... I will post pics here in a bit...there are so many I am afraid any other treatment would change the chemical balance of our tank...
Thanks for any help and good luck to you!!

Wow...
Are they dead, or just closed? I've never dealt with aiptasia (thank goodness) so I don't know.

Your first pictures are the reason for my anxiety attack when I first saw some aptasia pop up in our tank.. All it took was one big one to send me to the store for some peppermint shrimps.. I hope you get everything under control without having to kill the rock.

the aiptaser is a FAKE product. the original was built by paul b, and marketing for his product is still in the works. I suggest you wait for the real one.
I've tried out a similar product which was released by SWC, but has been taken down because Paul B has the copyright to the product. its fun to use though

Seriously? Do you know someone who has used the AipTaser from the vendors site?
I Don't know who you are, BUT PLEASE do not post other sites here (meowzer)
Is Paul B aware of possible copyright infringement?

He is, he is sueing the company who made them as well as anyone selling and advertising the product.
I review tons of products for this hobby for an aquarium website so we get this info in on a rapid basis
