Aiptasia or Hydroids?

These guys are about 1/2 inch tall and came on the rock with the blue shrooms. They didn't pop up for a couple of weeks after I got the rock. I posted pics last week, but I thought I try some under a different light.

SHould I keep or get rid of them. I'm snowed in today and doing major mainenance.??

Do you get rid of them the same way you do aiptasia, nuke them with kalk?

Beth, Did you figure a way to get rid of your hydroids. I found your post with pics and it looks like that's what I have in my tank. Did you try Kalk paste?

One huge mistake is to put calcium {_kalkwasser} onto such a large bunch of hydroids at once. But, do you know for sure calcium works? It does on glass aiptasia. Joes Juice works wonderfully on aiptasia but don't know anything about hydroids. I think they are lovely. Never during the day. Have done my tank successfully but another tank. smaller and without a sub tank, raised the ph considerably. Must be done with lights off. Hopefully Beth will know proper solution. Using anything new in your tank can cause death if you don't know how to do it. I should know!

They actually look better in the pics than they do in the tank. I think I'll pull the rock out and put it in a seperate container and pluck them off with a tweezers. Rinse the rock and put it back in my tank. It can only get worse.
