algae

i recently upgraded my lighting to a new t5 bulb system and about 3 weeks ago blackish green algae started to grow everywhere. is this temporary how do i get rid of it?

What lighting did you have before?
Also....tell us about your tank...size, age, filtration, livestock...anything you can think of...we want to know...

75 gal deep. wet dry filtration, live rock, 2 clowns, 1 yellow tang, 2 blue damsels, long tentacle anemone that the clown ignore, 1 pulsating xenia, will try to get pics uploaded soon. thanks for the reply

LOL...I am sooooo glad that I am not the only person whose clown ignores their anemones
