ALL-Glass VS Oceanic

Hi All, As some of you may know i have a weight issue to deal with. So does anyone know the difference in weight between an All-Glass 75 gallong with Modern Series stand and canopy VS Oceanic's 75 gallon with oak stand and cap? Also would the All-Glass fit with oceanic stand and cap? Both tanks would be reef ready and with sumps. Love this board :) Thanxs Again

Are you sure Anthem. I thought that All-Glass and Island are the same company. I could be wrong but that is what the LFS said when I price compared.

All-Glass and Oceanic are the same as Anthem stated. Oceanic will have a slightly higher quality glass, sometimes thicker. The majot difference is in the seams, trim, and braces. I'd suggest you take a look at each in person to see the difference. It may not be worth the added $$ for you, and then it just might :D

The oceanic set up would be heavier if for no other reason that the stand and canopy are supposed to be oak and the all glass modern series is particle board covered with a very thin laminate. The canopy on the all glass modern is plastic too.

Thank You All, But can anyone come up with actual numbers? As of now i am leaning towards the Oceanic, would 750 lbs be around the weight we are looking at? Thanxs Again

Thanxs Anthem, i thought the difference would be a couple hundred pounds. Makes me feel good that the weight difference is no big deal. Thank You All

What is their website? I tried Oceanic.com but no luck. Would like to see them.
