anemone in trouble

I need advice, please! I have a beautiful bubble-tip in my 90gal that has found a spot in the back attached to live rock rubbing itself into the substrate. It doesn't get very good circulation and never "bubbles" back there, and I can't see it. It hasn't looked good since it moved back there. I had it higher in the tank roughly 1/3 up and it bubbled and filled turgid looking beautiful. I don't know why it moved and it often shrinks up and looks pitiful, near death even. What should I do???
Do I move it, move the rock, change circulation of water, or what??? I am open to many ideas and theories. All replies greatly appreciated. I want the anemone to be happy and most of all to live!! <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

Can you tell us more about your Anemone and your care?
What are your feeding/How Often/How much
How long has the tank been running
What do you have for lighting
Water conditions
How large was the anemone when you got it
how big is it now

bang guy-
We rarely feed the anemone, it more filter feeds however on occasion, once every week or two, it gets a piece of krill or some seaweed selects. The tanks been running and cycled for 3 months and water conditions are:
pH : 8.0 I can't keep this up any higher, suggestions about this too would be great!
nitrite : 0
ammonia : 0
nitrate : 5 - 10, ranges with water changes (15% weekly)
The anemone hasn't shrunk overall in size I don't believe. It shrinks up a lot but at times expands back to full size, just not turgid and bubbled. Thanks for responding and hopefully this helps you be able to help me!

Oh yeah, I also dose the following chemicals :
Calcium - 10mL per day for 90 gal (as recommended by bottle and lfs)
Iodine - 16 drops roughly
Strontium, Magnesium - 10mL every 4 days as recommended by bottle
Trace Elements - once weekly
AND, our 2 true percs haven't moved in, if this is relevant.

Usually anemones move around until they are happy. Once they are happy they will stay put. I would not rely on filter feeding alone. If clownfish are not feeding it regularly then add some squid clam or shrimp into its tentacles directly. Are the tentacles still sticky, by this I mean does it hold onto food and try to eat it. When a anemone is sick, and often beyond recovery it will lose its ability to sting, and hold onto its prey. If it refuses to eat you have a real problem on your hands. It may lack the energy to maintain itself, and be void of all zooanthellae.
Good luck

If your bubble tip is in good health you might try moving your powerheads. I had one of mine crawl into the back when we moved rock so I change the current so it was a little stonger in the back and it moved to the front where I wanted it again. Also is it keeping it's color? If it is losing color then that is another sign that it is losing it's zooantheline. HTH

The anemone is still sticky, and has been looking better, it ate a piece of krill that got lost in the midst while feeding our other inhabitants. However, it hasn't moved to good lighting or circulation. I'l try the powerheads.
Any other suggestions, anyone???
