Anemone not eating and facing toward rocks? Odd behavior..

I bought an anemone and I feed it the kind of fish they like. I give the fish to it and it seems to attach to the fish but it seems like it cannot take it to its mouth and seems like the fish is too heavy and just lets it drop. Is there something wrong with it? Also it shrivels up and the tentacles get really tiny but then it gets back to its normal length..What is going on with it?

try tiny pieces.....also what kind of fish are you feeding it? I feed my anemone scallops...they are really soft too

I feed it silversides. I give em a half of one. It stays underneath a rock and I can barely see the tentacles, I tried moving it out into the light and to somewhere it could be well noticed but it seems like it just wants to be under the rock. It circled around for awhile when I moved it to the open. And the fans kept blowing it and when I unhooked them. IT just flipped upside down and just seemed like it was lifeless until I put the fans back on it....AHHHHH

DO NOT keep moving it....you will stress it out, and anemones that are stressed usually end up dead
as I said try tiny pieces....just place it on a tentacle with tongs....do not force it, and do not try to feed it if it is not fully open
you may also want to try the scallops :)

There it is now. It is just sitting there now. The tentacles are about normal size right now and it seems to be doing fine so far. Thanks!
