Anemone Questions

What do I need to feed my Anemone?
How often do I feed my Anemone?
As of right now my Anemone moved from the middle of my tank down to the bottom of my tank. Will the Anemone get enough light at the bottom of the tank?
Will the Anemone be able to live at the bottom?
Thanks for the help guys and girls.

expect your anemone(s) to move around for a few weeks until they are happy. silversides, mysis, raw shrimp, krill..id start with more nutritious sources such as silversides to make them happy fatty's. happy anemones will not move! i think i posted this in your other thread but when i moved my anemone from my 65 to my nano cube, it decided to sit on top of my 3-4 polyp spider man zoa frag and killed the frag.

I feed it 2 days ago. I gave it some mysis shrimp. He is staying put at the moment.

In my exp ...seabes will move about twice their inflated size size every 4 or 5 days untill it is happy... (In a larger tank anyway) they can crawl up or down rock and float so keep your powerheads covered with filter material or somthing of that nature untill he has settled.

I put mine in my tank, and its never moved.
My H.crispa (sebae is term often used with a few different species
, but most commonly H.crispa) does get some food everyday, but only small portions that make it past my fish when I am feeding. I use a high quality "complete reef food"
H. crispa is usually a sand dwelling anemone. If its climbing rocks, prolly lookin for more light.

I have covers over all my powerheads. So I shouldnt have a problem with it.

Where can I find complete reef food? Do you use ur food you sell? Im guessing thats what you use. I havent used any of your foods you sell, but I have heard they are the best.

OK...You have a 75g tank right? with pc lighting right? You do realize that anemones (more than likely) will not survive under that type of lighting...
REMIND ME..you have 108 watts of pc lighting....If I remember that's what your other thread says???

I hate to be a pain, BUT...You also just set this tank up in March....You should not add an anemone to a tank that is less than 6 months old....
I'm sorry to say this, but I doubt your anemone will be able to survive...(none of mine did before I got Metal Halides)

YEAH...sadly though the anemone usually dies

Like I said I lost a few because of improper lighting....and placing in the tanks too soon
Any way you can trade them back to your lfs for something else??
