anemone with frogspawn?????

hello,
their was this anemone at the pet store and i REALLY wanted it but i wasnt sure about it with my frogspawn and the anemone was only eight (it was called a condi i think) dollars but my frogspawn was 60 so can they be together?

You can put them together...but I would put them on opposite sides of the tank...Be aware though....CONDI's get BIG, and could possible eat your little fish....

the frogspawn would be fine but the condi's are very aggressive and if they are hungry and can get a hold of a fish the fish will get eaten. also if the condi moves it could move to the frogspawn andf then there would be a problem. i would say dont rish it. get a nicer anemone if you have to have one.

okay my clowns are pretty big and the anemone was very small like one credit card and it looked very healthy i soo idk tried a rbt about three months ago and very very very long story short he died

yes sadly i have 65 watt compact ( getting t5s in a few weeks)
i didnt know that much about anemones then and the guy said that it was plenty of light

OH...OK...Now I remember...I wouldn't get another anemone though until you get the new lights....

i would definitely wait for the new lighting and also if your looking for something that your clowns will host its not gunna be a condi anemone

It is not just a maroon thing

and here is my tourch coral as you can see both are huge in my 55 and all are fine and peacefull

well dang i stand corrected i guess haha, i would still wait for the lights but i guess if you really want the condy go for it, i personally would wait for a bta or something like that

+1 Condys need very strong lighting. Pc will not work for long. Mine is under 2 X 250 mh in a 55 gal. Also condy are cool but dont be suprised if they do eat your clown. Keep it well fed and you should be ok.
