Anenome Lighting

I've got a 54g corner tank with a couple of true percs.
I've designed an LED lighting system and now that I've got it running I'm worried about how much light this thing really puts out.
I've got 72 CREE XRE running at 1A. Basically its an aqua illuminations fixture but my own custom design for a corner tank ;)
All that to ask this.
Your opinion if this is enough light to put a RBTA in my tank?

You can keep bta under a couple 40w shop lights if you feed them regularly.
do you have pics of your bta under shop lights ?what lamps are you using?I have read every where they need high light and food every 3-4 days at the most and over feeding will only stress the anem.I dont say it it cant happen I have seen them under pc but up high and under 6 65 w

i don't mean to steal your thread, but i have a similar issue. I have a 29 hex with an 18" Current Nova Extreme T5 2x20 watt light fixture. 460nm Actinic Blue 10000K Daylight...would this work?

First what is the height of the tank? If its less than 24" you have the correct type of light, just not enough of it, IMO. You would need at least double that amount and that still might be marginal. IMO a 150w halide clamp on would be perfect. HTH good luck.

man these things are expensive. my tank is almost 20" tall..what else are my options?
Unfortunately IMO not many options left for you. You could look into a 6 bulb HO T5 fixture, it may not penetrate all the way to the bottom of your tank but it will be ok for the anem. The issue is, that fixture will most likely be as expensive if not more expensive than the 150W halide will.

i just bought the 150 watt clamp on hqi that Perfect Dark suggested. Now my only issue is this. I ordered 2 minis from someone off swfish, and they are coming on wednesday, 2m. My light is going to be here on thursday, i upgraded shipping. I am going to put the anemones in my dads 75g tank since he has a metal halide fixture on it.
1- there is another anemone in there, this wouldn't be a problem right?
2- as soon as my light comes in, how long should i wait before I transfer the minis?
3- how do i get an anemone out of the tank?

Believe me, I am no expert...But I would not put the anemones in a different tank only to move them in 2 days..Probable causethem more stress....You say your anemones come today, and your light tomorrow, So I am sure they will be fine in your tank.

I agree with meowzer's answer. As far as having more than one anemone in a tank the size of yours...Depending on the species of the other anemone, I wouldnt.
