1st...why don't you tell us everything you can about your tank...age, size, lighting, filtrations, water parameters
we'll start there
OHHHH...don't move it....that will just stress it...let it find its own place

The problem could be a million things. The number one reason for anemone death is lack of research beforehand. This usually results in an incapability of spelling anemone

Don't move it as Meow said, a healthy anemone should be able to move and attach itself where it wants to be.
As the others have said, give us tank levels, lighting and filtration specifics, as well as the type of anemone.

I don't think correcting his/her spelling will help him/her fix the problem he/she has. Lets not be rude to someone who genuinely needs help.

Even if you didn't research we have a moral obligation to assist you as much as possible before it dies. My first question would be lighting, are you meeting the 5watts per gallon guideline. Its not exactly full proof but a good starting point. Whats the salinity & pH?
Finding out what type of anemone will help also. Different anemones show stress in different ways. Ive had a Sebae for i think 4 months and it has signaled signs of stress before by over inflated tips.
I had a long tentacle that wouldn't attach and I took it back to the store where it died about 4 days later, i only had it for 2-3 days and it would get blown around by the waterflow.
If the lights are strong, color is good, along with salinity and pH it should be ok. Im my case i had both at the same time one attached the other didn't I think it was on its way out when i bought it but ohh well.

The 5 watt, 6 watt, 4 watt, etc per gallon thing is a rule of thumb. Few rules of thumb are actually worth a damn in this hobby, this being one that is not.
However, you have an excellent point in that we do need to know the wattage and type of lighting that this individual has. We really need the OP to come back. If he did genuinely need help, he would come back and help us help him.
