I squared my bases earlier but the guy that cut the wood for me at home depot didnt cut them exactly flat, is that okay? I'm filling the spaces with wood glue

What size tank is going on it? Once its not extremely uneven it should be fine. I kinda overbuilt mine just to be on the safe side. Keep mind mine lots of weight and water.

damnit curry, this stand is so stressful but i got half of it done after restarting. did my own cuts after renting a miter, hopefully i'm doing it right. so how do feel about the sturdyness of the stand?

I feel extremely confident. I would not have been sleeping if I didn't reinforce the legs and overbuild the stand. If I had to do it again I would have no problems and I would do it twice as nice. lol.
Keep in mind when using the saw it takes off 1/8th of an inch when making the cut.
The key is to draw out the design on paper measure everything twice and make a list of each piece that you need.

lol and i told you, you cant keep your hands out. no one can

hahah thank you! I have some more zoa's coming this monday and a brand new clean up crew from reef cleaners. Truth be told, my old CUC sucks... So i'm banishing some hermits...
Everytime I put my hand in the tank my peppermint tries to clean my finger nails... go figure.

Good good... Once the legs are reinforced you should be good to go. Post up some pics. You can even use metal brackets to help.

hermits to me are really use less. they dont anything only eat uneaten food.

I ordered about 30 cerith snails and 7 more tongan nassarius snail. I'm going to get rid of all the BIG hermits i can find in there and keep the tiny blue leg and scarlet ones.
