Another dang algae question...

I have a 55 also and I have 4 peppermeint shrimp, 2 cleaner shrimp and a coral banded shrimp.They are great for keeping my rocks clean. I also have many snails several large ones keep my glass clean. My angelfish also keeps my rocks clean.

I also have a royal gramma but I am told it is bold/mean in general. Now it isn't mean with my fish but you do have to be careful on what fish you get after that.
BTW I do 5-6 gal. wtaer changes weekly and I have only scraped my glass once in 6 weeks. I also check my chemicals weekly maybe twice if I add more to my tank that week.

I have a scooter blenny in my 65g and its frozen foods. I dont think it will starve and their primary food isnt pods in the tank (in my case).
