night time prowling... discovered another critter...
looks like what i would call a rolly polly... with 2 very obvious black dots (eyes) rather far apart in the front.
No claws or anything from what i can tell.. could'nt get him to move much to get an idea of speed or anything.. rather small..
but in size, shape, appearance.. the best desription i can say is... looks like a rolly polly...
anyone know what this is?

It's the bloodsucking version of a Cirrolanid isopod. Some are harmless but this one is a bloodsucker. The pic is way overexposed to show detail of the compound eyes.

Watch out for Bang Guy! Those things are his favorite bugs. He grows them in his deep dark basement in his 900 gallon
la-bor-a-tory. (think Monster Mash when you read la-bor-a-tory) :D

Well, it looks like that pic 'a little'.. but not completely...
that is the overall body shape... but the eyes are NOT compounded and as large as that. The eyes were very tiny dots rather far apart.. very black.. like periods at the end of a sentence.
I found this pic of an Isopod Munnid - this is also NOT it.. but close as well... The EYES are more like this pic.. but it has the body shape of the pic posted above. I do not remember seeing any defined or extended legs.. they must have been very small.. or tucked underneath himself.
