Please post the species of Tang, how long it has been in the tank, and the length of the tank after you vote.

Nice job... compare the results of this poll with the other poll and there may be some validity to the results. :joy:

The tank is 4 foot...not the Tang.
I did not vote in this pole, however...I have a friend that has an 11 year old, 13" Sailfin in a 7' tank.

Maybe the best way to go about this is to ask:
If you have ever had a tang, state what type, how large, how long it remained in what size tank and with what other fish, and if it died, what was the apparent cause?

I have a 4 foot aquarium, I think 110 gallons. One yellow tang is about 4 inches and I have had it for one year. I have ordered Naso tang. Hope they will be compatible. Also have ordered two foxface venomous tangs. Kinda new at this so I hope it will be ok to mix them.

yes the naso and the yellow should do fine together one is a sailfin and the other sergion type.as for the foxfaces they are rabbit fish not tangs.they will do fine with your tangs but not with each other. foxfaces should be kept one per tank agression between these fish can be fatal.your fish supplier should have known this.and cautioned you.

4 foot, 75 gallon tank. Yellow tang and hippo tang. Had both for about a year and a half, although they moved into the 75 about 4 months ago. They were in a 55 before that.
