24 hour update
Well, I just did the math and it's 175ga, not a 160. (bonus)
(84 wide 24 high 20 deep) /231
I'm at 8'' high and at 7.3 per inch that's almost 60 gallons in 24 hours of RO/DI water.
I totally thought of that too, just a little late. Does it really help output? If so, I'll make the mod once it's done filling. Or if it's a real big difference, I'll do it tomarrow.
THANKS
i'd say 25 - 35 % faster. and when your makeing water for water changes it's closer to the right temp and the salt dissolves faster. i have mine out in the garage so it's cold out there
About 70 degrees
I let it fill the sump las night (30 ga) because I'm not going to be home untill late tonight and didn't want a flood. By my math, everything shpuld be done filling around 12:30m tonight.
At 6 am today it was done.
81 hours for tank, sump, plumbing, skimmer and overflow box's.
no salt yet. there is a package under my x mas tree that looks like a bucket. So, I'm getting either KFC or salt.
