any clues

Ive got a 29gal tank with a 130w pc JBJ light. Tank has about 75 lbs of live rock and 40 lbs live sand. current stock is 1 yellow watchman, 2 clowns and a starfish as well as 10-15 snails and 7-8 hermits.
All my parameters are acceptable (asides from magnesium cause i cant afford 40$ for a test kit) being at
salinity-1.025
nitrite-0
nitrate-5
ammonia-0
calc-420
my question is that my corals keep dying because of what? any clues. the tank has been up for a good 4-5 months and i do water cahnges weekly at 5 gallons per change. frogspawn has died, a toadstool, GSP even, and now my shrooms.
Any theories would be appreciated. i really love the hobby but cant keep wasting money and want to solve the problem before i do anything more.

1) What brand test kit are you using?
2) Are you sure you have 75 lbs of LR in your 29G?
Pics would help...

Seems like a lot of rock in a 29, almost to the point of not having any water in it!

What kind of rock is it? I am wondering if there is something in the rock detrimental to the coral and no the fish?

I dunno its prolly less but weighing a few peices it came out to be around 65-75 give or take... prolly closer to 65 and they were from a neighbor who took down one of his sumps and gave em to me.
Temperature stays at 79.5-80.2 all day every day
Water changes done with ro/di water.
Lights are on from 1pm-11pm for actinic and 2pm-10pm for daylight. (possibly the problem?) i dont have lunar lights

I run carbon, have a protein skimmer and run chemipure elite as well after the corals started dying, wanted to help rid the waste.

flow is 1 koralia nano and 1 100gph aquaclear powerhead on left side w/ 1 100gph aquaclear powerhead in the back (so nothing settles) and an oscelating 200gph powerhead on the right side.

I sincerely doubt this is your problem, 13 dKH is about right were you should be running with the calcium level that you are showing. I would say your issue is something else. Was the tank new or used when you got it? How about your LR?

the live rock was from my neighbor's tank and before a few weeks ago everything was fine. the tank was brand new store bought and the same for all of the equipment.

lol i dont think so but theres always a possibility... wash hands and rinse em in ro water well before doing anything to the tank.

you could probally use some more flow IMO....that nano isn't pushing enough.....did your friend ever treat his tank with copper??....have you had any metal in tank??...how old is the RO unit that your getting water from??...these are just a few other things that could be happening.

the water is storebought but i used a friends tds meter to test it and test my water change water before putting it in the tank. i tested the tank itself for copper and it came out 0.

How about temperature swings? With PC lights, temperature can often play a significant role in the loss of corals. What is the low in your tank at night, and the high during the day?
