any idea what this is???

I thought it was a sponge but yesterday I noticed it had things coming out of the tips...kinda like little feature dusters

you can see one of them on the upper left tip, the others went back in when I took the picture.

that's what I was thinking but I can't find a photo that looks close to it, The little polyps only come out of the tips.

I dont know I was at big als today and I saw an orange carnation about the same size that looked the same %% If you look closely the polyps are near the for the carnation like your picture.

Looks like a Diodogorgia Yellow finger gorgonian, 100% filter feeder, probably will not survive in our tanks. Very hard to keep.

I have had it for a few weeks it came off a sponge that was pulled off a reef here locally.https://www.saltwaterfish.com/vb/showthread.php?t=360980
here is a better pic with the polyps opened up. It never had them before so I think it is happy now whatever it is. also its about a 1/2 inch in length.
