I live in Elk River also. There is a new store opening in Ramsey, Premier pets. They have a huge fish room setup. I was in there last week and they were getting the tanks setup. No livestock yet, but are going to have a huge selection of corals and sw fish.
Refuse to buy at world of fish, their prices are OUTRAGOUS!! Something fishy is a little better, but still high.
I have to confess, I bought a snowflake eel,and lionfish at Deathco.
There is a store in Brooklyn Park called Fish n Friends that has very good prices. I bought a Blue masked angel there for a good price. They will order anything you want at a fair price. My only complaint is that they now have ick swarming through their tanks. It has been thriving unchecked for a couple months. Hopefully they will get it under control. This store has the best deals I have found. Hopefully they get the ick under control so I can load up my tanks.

Yes, I too have been there, Chris the owner is a nice kid, he wants to take over the minneapolis area for Marine, Inverts, etc... I have chatted with him many times, he even offered me a part time job. but couldn't do it, I'd go broke.
