I know there not off to a great start but there back at home and facing the mediocre orioles, and things are starting to look a little better. Also bruins and celts in the playoffs.

Marlins are the DevilRays of this year no question about it....Everybody is on the Phillys/Mets in the East, but Florida is good enough to sneak into the playoffs for sure.

Hey Crimzy...Did you watch game one Tigers/Mariners?
Best start in franchise history.
Yeah I caught it while studying... in the beginning, your pitcher looked like he was going to unravel early while Verlander pitched a perfect game through 4 innings. Then he blew up for 5 runs in the 5th.
Frustrating game.

Every small market wishes their team was the Marlins. 2 World Series Championships already. The only thing I dislike about the Marlins is how the big market teams use them as an example for why baseball doesn't need a salary cap or revenue sharing.

It wasn't the most difficult catches ever but it was dang cool.
I hear ya... I've seen other homerun saving catches before. But the situation made this one special, IMO.
Just imagine watching your favorite team with a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the ninth... walkoff time. One out, runner on first. Sizemore hits a shot into center... you're watching Granderson go back, back, back, knowing that this usually means bad things. He goes up and makes a leaping grab to save the game. I've never seen a catch like this to win/lose a game. That's what made it so cool.

of course, situationally that is one of my favorite plays in baseball. One as a kid you fantasize about.

watching the braves right now take it to the mets 6-2 bottom of the 8th 2 outs... hopefully the braves bullpen saves the game. glad the braves picked up Lowe.
