Hey there,
My husband and I are buying a new car. We've never had leather seats. The one we are looking at has black leather. Of course, the salesman says they don't get very hot
. So I was wondering if anyone has experience with this?
Thanks!!!!

Yup.
I suppose I'll elaborate...
BMW convertible + summer sun + top down = YEEOOOUCH!!
LOL...I purposely ordered my Mustang WITHOUT leather for reason previously mentioned...also when you wear shorts...warm or cold you tend to stick
My hubby has leather in his truck...I bring a towel to sit on

I also have black leather in my BMW....Summer in Arizona is coming....I have seen 90 degrees thus far and had no issue, couldn't really tell black from tan at that temp, we will see when it hits 115
Any leather is hot with that temp.

We learn to put the top up no matter how fast we are coming back...

I still wouldn't trade the high grade BMW leather for anything. I smells and feels wonderful. Just protect the thighs if you let the seats get hot.
Oh, and pick up a quality leather care kit.

we have black leather in our Pathfinder. No hotter than anyother leather. (I have grey in my van)
Good cleaning/conditioner every few years.

That's what I was wondering. This is on a Honda Pilot so it's not like the top will be down or anything. :)
