Revelations Chapter 13 tells us it is 42 months, and you know what that is.
Almost a four-year term of a Presidency.

Do we recognize this description??
I need some help here. Where does it say this in Revelations? It seems to me that the NT offers as the anti-Christ a variety of options - from Israelites to Popes to entire populations. So where does it say that the anti-Christ will be a 40 year old Muslim male? After all, Islam wasn't even founded until at least 200 years after Revelation was written.

This campaign has gotten dangerous.... Its these things that the McCain campaign... which are also fueled by people like Rush and Sean Hannity, and the extreme right... that may be putting people's lives at risk... You listen to the rhetoric and stmp speeeches of McCain, Palin, his wife, and others... you see a division sparking that may lead to riots as well as acts of terrorism by the RIGHT!!
McCain is running a sleazy campaign.. and to allow the comments that are being made are not only wrong... but dangerous. His direct support of these tactics show that he will not put the country first... He is throwing hail mary's hoping that something sticks with ill regard for truth or consequences for such remarks. McCain talks about honor... he is loosing a little bit everyday... He has gone against the principles that he set forth at the beginning of this campaign... and has adopted the Rove tactics... but much, much worse...and with greater consequences...

Fanatics????... Have you seen McCain rallys lately... people making threats and shouting like a crazy mob? Listen to the Right media... and Fox news... this is what is scary... A campaign that will ignore the issues and a possible DEPRESSION, to talk about loose associations of the other candidate... and to paint him as someone who put Mrs. McCain's son at risk... which is entirely not true.... and ignores the fact that at the start of the war the Bush Admin sent troops into Iraq w/o combat armor on the humvees.

to have an antichrist, you would have to first have a "christ" (means: messiah/ savior).
and second of course, to believe in the clarvoyance of long dead writers.

The other side of that coin...
It seems very superstitious that everyone seems to believe a very inexperienced freshman senator with nary a single legislative accomplishment and 0 exectutive experience can bring about "change"...

The Bible does not say that. Not in the Book of Revelation, nor anywhere else.

oooh so fox news leans more towards the republican side oh my god what are we to do ? what about cnn and msnbc and all the rest of them, you bring up the 1 (ONE ) that isnt sucking obamas butt

I bring up the one because of the
comments being made... I've been listening to Hannity and Rush on the radio lately to get a feel for the GOP's position, as well as watching all of the networks... and fox news doesn't lean as I will add MSNBC really doesn't lean... I'll say CNN leans... its not the point though...
Comments being made by prominent people related to Fox are fueling attacks that are building a case for Obama to be anti-american, anti-christ, racist, a terrorist, muslim... which are all untruths... this is a dishonorable campaign...
McCain is attempting to appeal to exteme right and people whom he already has their support... he is going to loose the election by not appealing to the issues and indepenedents... everyone for McCain has already made up their mind.. the people on the fence want to know how we are going to solve these issues.. which are being ignored... the consevatives with sense can see what McCain is doing... and they are calling him out on it, as well as Palin.
I'll also add that I have no problem with FOX News aligning to the right... thats fine... but when we are dealing with a Recession/Depression... the McCain campaign is trying to decieve the public and play to your fears and discriminative thoughts... They are DESPERATE! to bring up these topics in the 11th hour while we are facing an economic crisis unseen since The Great Depression.... his whole campaign slogan of "Country First" is now uncredible... his recent statments are complete contradictions... just look at his views on the gov't buying house loans.. and how they have changed in a matter of weeks..
I'll also add the links and ties McCain tries to pain Obama with to Fannie/Freddie... his campaign manager was a lobbiest for them and banked in $750,000 for the deregulation that allowed them to operate as they have been.

I am sorry to the OP but this thread is pretty silly. Obama is not the anti-Christ. I am not dazzled but him or hypnotized or anything of the sort. I just happen to agree with his views more than McCain's. If anything, someone who is trying to put an end to a war and bring our troops home is not evil in my eyes. Hopefully he will be able to do that.
That said, Hussein was the anti christ (he was judged and executed), Bush was the anti-Christ (we all know now that he is just inept and can't form a coherent sentence), and during the last Great Depression that world was coming to an end (Obviously that didn't happen although it was a very difficult time). All these people were supposed to be evil and help end the world. Well, it didn't happen. Try not to be so dramatic people.
