Mmmmm...Bacon fat indeed. My Mom used to save it in a jar because my Dad would basically put it on bread like butter. Old German guy and all...but there were times when I though "I bet that's not half bad!"

I use it in place of whatever fat the recipie calls for when I have it on hand. Add a little cheddar and chives, and the biscuts become sinful. An old womman also taught me to use bacon fat in place of handcream in a pinch. (Don't do that regularly, but if my hands happen to be dry and I'm on my way to throw out the greasy paper towels...)

That would drive me insane. I would start chewing on my fingers. Bad idea. Right now I only chew them a bit but no damage. But with bacon fat......
