I do suggest calling before you go in as they can get slammed fast last night I would say their mighht have been 15 to 20 people in the shop at one time. I call in advance tell them im coming and I want help when I arrive and they are on top of me ASAP. I have not spent a ton of money in there but they treat me like I am their best customer and I know for sure im nowhere close. they know be by name now after only two visisits stayed open 2 hours late for me to arrive once I mean coem on thats customer service.

I have not posted in here in a looong time. Anyway I'm from KC and have to say we have a great line up of LFS stores here in the city. Midwest Reefs, Aquarium Wholesale, and Fish World are all great with honest employees. Paradise Aquatics is OK if you can put up with rude employees and very high prices, but they do have amazing looking stock.
Also we have a wonderful local non profit site run by locals where all ideas and information is welcome to be posted, unlike here. If you are from the KC/Kansas area do some googling and I'm sure you can find it. Once I did I knew SWF.com was history for me.

Bob Fenner Was awsome today !!! I am running a FOWLR but after talking to him and listening to him for a few hours i feel like a old pro at the reef lol. This guy is as real as it gets wish ya'll would have made it it was the best 2 plus hour drive to hear someone talk I have ever made.

very cool and appreciated.
I am working with a guy about starting a swf club in my area. I know plenty of these soldiers are running swf and it would be nice to have guys to shoot the breeze with closer than kc or saint louis for sure.

Planet reef is having a huge blowout sale this weekend and allowing people into their QT area. if you can make it should be very cool to see. I know they are selling TONS.
They are also having a frag in a bag deal where you get a ticket and go in and get what you want so know your stuff Im going to cheat and take a book lol.
