haha ;-) The laws changed last year, anything sub 1.2g of powder per shot is legal. Of course, we did have some 1.4g+ shells. ;-)

bottle rocket wars, ahh memories. I believe everything is legal in louisiana and mississippi. I grew up next to a huge wholeseller so they were cheap and always availiable.

Bottle rocket wars, those were great. Had a guy that worked for me who lost his hand in a Roman candle accident.

Florida (if it is wet enough) can look like a war zone! My cousin works at a fireworks store so he give me the hook up

Not true auto, it just depends on where you live in cali. I'm in norcal and in my county they are illegal, but my city voted to make the safe and sane ones legal. So we have been able to use them for several years now.

Illegal here, but you could get them easily.
From a law-abiding family, I'm a law-abiding person, so I don't touch them. Everyone I know does, though.

Gee, I grew up in PA (born and raised) and I think everything is restricted there...luckily they allow you to breathe!!!!

Here in WI, fireworks are also illegal, but once again, just get a permit. Of course the permit doesn't allow you to set them off in your backyard with neighbors all about...lucky we never had the cops called on us....

There is also no policing them either. I live on East Lake Tohopekaliga and the city does a big event each year basically on the lake front and people spill onto our back lawns. The police are walking around while people set off fireworks in our yards. I have had my pool enclosure hit and holes burnt into it and one go off in my garage right next to the gas cans and the police do nothing so it gets aggevating. This year I am going to sit out back with a hose with a pressure nozzle and blast the idiots with it.
I'm gonna guess you live in Fla as I lived not far from Lake Toho.

Ok, now I know we all have neighbors we can't stand. Wat you need to do is buy a pack of cigaretts. Take one cigarette out start to smoke it. Place the wick inside the cigarette. The cigarette will burn slowly giving you plenty of time to retreat. Then you can call the cops on them.

Almost everything is illegal here in PA, except for some ground ones I think. From what I understand, everything except sparklers is illegal in NY, and possibly NJ but I'm not sure. However, living on the border of both states, NY & NJ residents are allowed to buy fireworks here since it's across the state line. There are so many fireworks stores here (on the PA side), some large, and at least some with signs on the door that PA residents are not even allowed to enter (and someone right inside the door checking IDs). Kind of irritates us PA residents (in this area). When we see a new building being constructed, we hope it will be some decent store or restuarant or something like that - turns out to be yet another fireworks store that we can't even enter!
Oh well, life goes on...
