Apparently they are in Arizona. I was watching a news report the other night where some apartment complex owner was complaining about how he's lost almost 30% of his tenants since 'The Bill' was implemented. About a month ago, there was an article in my local paper that had a picture of these two women having a garage sale in the front of their house. They were complaining that they had to move from their home because of 'The Bill'. They were sad because they said they both had good jobs, and their kids were going to miss their schools. The person writing the article stated if you looked down the street, there were at least 20 other homes with "For Rent/For Sale" signs in front of them. If that's not the definition of a citizen, I don't know what is.

But who cares? The illegals were most likely carrying guns before this new law passed. Now they can carry them in the wide open. I guess the actual 'citizens' of Arizona can rest easy now. Now they can see them coming with their weapons, instead of being surprised if they oull them on them.

These school districts in all these Border States don't seem to want to enforce the laws. I have a buddy that lives down in The Valley here in Texas (Brownsville/McAllen area), and he says that these kids who have some sort of Visa, walk across the Mexican border in the morning, a school bus takes them to school, and at the end of the day, they drop the kids off back at the border and they walk back across to their homes in Mexico! You think the district is collected taxes from these families?
Here in San Antonio, they no longer offer Pre-K classes to any child whose family has an annual income over $25,000. They reserve those classes to the 'underprivileged' kids so that they can be prepared to enter Kindergarten at the same level as all the other kids. My neighbor teaches at one of the local Elementary's, and she tells me the only kids in those classes are Hispanics that can't speak a lick of English. So even though 2/3rd's of my property taxes go towards school taxes, I can't utilize a beneficial class for a small child because I make too much money. Want to 'cry me a river' over that one?

It was illegal before the law for illegals to have a gun in their possession. It is still illegal for non-citizens to carry a weapon. The only thing that has changed is now American citizens in Arizona have the legal ability to do what the criminals already are doing.

I've heard about the crossing for school thing before. There are also shortages of PO boxes in some border towns from people living in Mexico that have government assistance checks mailed to them. Just more proof most illegals add nothing to our society. They will return to Mexico in a heartbeat if they can get a good job there.

Yea, but now when you see that Hispanic walking down the street with a gun strapped to his side, "Is he illegal or not"? So the illegals can now break the law right in the face of the cops.

There is plenty of data to back up the CCW's effect on violent crime. There was a study done on California between counties that made it easier to get a CCW permit and those who didn't. Guess which ones had the drop in violent crime?
Now now, are not all these permits, background checks and training "burdens"? According to the activist judge, we should not have to put up with all these burdens. If fact, let's get rid of all the burdens the gov't imposes starting with the regressive tax code and the IRS.

By the way, you have been allowed to open carry in Arizona for decades. Even California allows open carry in rural areas.

That's not what I mean. Supposedly before this law was passed, you couldn't carry a concealed gun or a weapon in the open. Now ANYONE can carry a weapon in broad daylight, legal or not. I'm saying this Sheriff won't be able to distinguish between the 'good guy' or the 'bad guy' now that anyone can carry a gun out in the open. Has nothing to do whether it's legal or not.

My brain left out the 'concealed' part. I was thinking this allowed you to carry a weapon around not only concealed, but out in the open on your person.
