At least 100 of these things

Hi,
I have been noticing these clear "feather duster" things on my three live rocks. There is at least 100 of them, Only about 1mm in size. Some bigger and flourish in the crevices and corners. I just want to know if they are beneficial or not. If not, How do I get rid of them? Sorry for the crappy pictures.
Thank You,
Trevor

I am only phone, and I honestly can't tell from that picture, but trying going here: http://www.lionfishlair.com/hitchhiker/hitchhiker.shtml
And see if anything looks similar.

LOL..your pictures look like I took them. Also means..I can't see a thing... If they are indeed feather dusters and retract into a tube on the rock and sort of look like snowflakes...they are awesome little filter feeders AKA good critters. or they are small aptasia which looks fleshy in color and stringy, not good critters.
