I hope the Avs can win tonight , would hate to see them bow out before the Wings have a chance to take them out themselves...
Detroit vs Ottawa in the finals ... Wings win in 5 ...

Well, tonight is game 7 and it's in the Pepsi Center (Denver)! Yes, I'm pulling for the Avs, but those Kings have sure put on a show the last couple of games out. I'm crossing my fingers on this one. Go Avs!!!!!

Chris Drury is tha man. I believe that was a great game 7. Glad it's completed and the AVS were victorius!!!!!!!!! Bring on the Sharks baby!!!!!!

Detroit Red Wings! Stevie has the "eye of the tiger" yet again and Federov is getting into his groove as well as Hasek. Hockeytown is going to get the cup again. As for the Detroit Lions.....is there a booby prize? <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" />

What do you mean the Lions, we can't loose? How many other teams you know of that has 5 quarterbacks?

Ok the semi-finals start today. Pretty tough matchups!!!! St. Louis vs. Detroit. I'm going to have to say Detroit will win that series. I like the Wings, unless they are playing Colorado. I think the Avs will beat the Sharks. Roy is in the zone now.....At least I hope he is. As far as Toronto vs. Ottawa, Leafs win. Of course this is only my opnion. Any other predictions?

Detroit is definitly in the zone. Up 2 games on the blues. Personally I can't stand the blues, but it's fun to watch them get beat up. I mainly don't like Chris Pronger. At this point I'm pulling for Detroit. The blues goalie is their main problem. If they get a goalie they might have a chance. Say the hurricanes are bit of a suprise as well? They are looking decent.....

Here's how its going down, the Wings can't win. I'm sorry to disappoint everyone but they aren't going to win. I liked the Isles chances to be honest but we all know what happened there.
Here it is:
The Habs will take the Canes in 6 or 7
The Sens will take the Leafs in 5 or 6
The Avs will take the Sharks in 7
The Wings will take the Blues in 6
And then....
The Avs will take the Wings in 5
The Habs will take the Sens in 6
The Avs will take the Habs in 6
There it is, from a true Canadian :) By the way, the Lakers are going to win again if anyone cares (as much as I hate the Lakers, go Celts!). I can't stand Detroit, they have a good team, but I will never cheer for a team that tries to buy their way to the Cup. Sorry Wings fans, not this year, and hopefully not anytime soon. :p

Let's not forget that the Wings won 2 cups with homegrown players... (Yzerman, Lidstrom , Ozgood, Konstatinov, Fedorov, Lapointe, etc............)
Then went out and got players to make one more run at the cup, before they rebuild the team... Lets face it , the chance for guys like Hasik and Robitle to get a cup is somthing any veteran player would do...
Lets also remember that they traded homegrown players to get some of these guys ... (Kozlov for Hasik ... Erickson for Chelios...)
Face the facts Canada doesn't rule the hockey world anymore ... The Wings have done an excellant job of working the European market...

P.S.- How are your hometeam Flames doing in their <U> GOLF </U> League???
