Australian Acanthastrea Lordhowensis??

Hi, I just got my Australian Acanthastrea Lordhowensis Frag. My question is about placement. Should i stick it in a hole in my live rock or should it be mounted on top of a piece of my live rock? Or does it matter? This is my first one, so I'm not to sure.

pending on what kind of lights you have i would suggest low in the tank to middle of the tank. acans dont need alot of light or water flow to thrive.

i have my acans on the sandbed. thats where i always see them in other tanks too.

hmmm...mine are mid tank under Metal Halides...seem to be doing good too...
